Quenton Colby

Having lived in Griffin for 26 years, Quenton Colby has resided in Atlanta for the past seven. He has been painting and drawing most of his life, with several years of experience in caricature drawings. Quenton works full time for himself as an interior decorative and mural artist, with commission paintings upon request. His range of style varies from traditional landscapes, to figurative and non-figurative abstracts, textured walls, and painted furniture. He discovered the interior decorative industry 6 years ago and knew right then what made him happy. 

Quenton's palette includes a color range of bright and subtle tones such as rich browns and blues too soft pastel reds and toupes. He uses oil paints  to express vibrancy and depth in order to embrace the viewer and convince the eye. His work has been featured in Atlanta magazine and Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles.  Quenton receives so much joy and satisfaction from his work, but more so from the difference he can make in someone’s living environment.  He has been very fortunate to have a career that has carried him from San Francisco to Florida, to Baltimore to Atlanta and hopefully many more great destinations in the future.
