Jeffrey Paclipan uses non-toxic glue as a vehicle in his paintings. Like watching a Polaroid, the glue and latex intermix and develop slowly, sometimes within hours.  Each thin, skin-like, film creates a distance between each layer.  This allows light to pass through to the colors beneath, within the glue, creating depths paint could not provide by itself.

Whether traditional, figurative, contemporary, or fantasy, each piece is frozen, ethereally, like a neo-encaustic dream.  Jeff thrives on the anticipation of creating a piece that, with the help of his subconscious mind, ultimately brings itself to life.
