Gabe Hines

Gabe Hines has been a member of the Atlanta art community since 1999, but has been painting non-stop for over 15 years. Gabe approaches the canvas using the emotional landscape of his intuition, uniting and dissecting colors with a non-objective, open process. 
With meditative fields of color, ripe with texture, he invites viewers to summon their own interpretation of his work. This invitation gives the audience the opportunity to create meaning based upon their own personal experiences.
Gabe has been voted "Best Local Visual Artists - Readers Pick" Creative Loafing 2003 and 2004, is an active member of the Atlanta Underground Film Festival, and is involved in the experimental audio/visual trio, Rhinoctopus.
