Artist Duane Georges enjoys working in a wide range of styles and materials. The welded metal work is a new series playing on dimensional abstraction. A reoccurring theme in Duane Georges'  work is the implication of movement and motion. Flowing lines and jarred angles reflect natural elements of form and shape. The absence of movement draws the viewer into the work and allows deeper investigation of each piece. The use of formed and found metal elements gives new weight and solidity to Duane's creativity.

Duane George's work is in constant evolution. His themes consist of ideas portrayed in a sculptural or 3-dimensional format. An ability to work with many materials enables him to express artistic ideas utilizing shape, form, texture and expression that results in very animated and detailed abstract works. Duane Georges is a self realized artist raised in Savannah and educated in the school of life. This non-traditional background is evident in his style.
